Preparing the Player

Select the access point you want to

connect to from the list.
If an encryption key is required, the entry

screen appears.

When no encryption key is required, the

connecting dialog box appears. After

establishing the connection, the Internet

browser appears.

Select “WEP Key” or “WPA Key,” enter the

encryption key, then select “OK.”
The connecting dialog box appears. After

establishing the connection, the Internet

browser appears.

For how to input text, see “Text Input” (

page 20).

To register the access point, check “Save

encryption key.” After registering, you can

connect to the access point by simply

selecting it from the Select Access Point

screen.

If you do not know the WEP key or WPA key

for the access point, refer to the operation

guide for the access point, or consult the

administrator of the network or the public

Internet access service provider.

WEP Key or WPA Key

If you cannot connect

Some access point require more detailed settings. See “Changing the Wireless

LAN Settings” ( page 127) to set up. If you are not sure about the settings,

ask the person who installed the access point, the administrator of the wireless

LAN, or the public Internet access service provider.
