Tape
Loading a tape

Press Z PUSH.

Load a recorded/recordable tape into
the cassette holder.
Playing a tape
You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to TAPE.

Press DIRECTION repeatedly to select
“
g ” to play one side of a tape, “ h ”
to play both sides, or “ j ”* to play
both sides repeatedly.
* The tape deck stops automatically after
repeating the sequence five times.

Press TAPE nN .
Press TAPE nN again to play the
bottom side.

Stop play
Pause
Fast-forward or
rewind
Remove the tape
Do this
Press x (or TAPE x on the
remote).
Press TAPE X. Press again to
resume play.
Press m or M (or TAPE m or
M on the remote).
Press Z PUSH.
With the side you
want to play/
record facing up
