Sound Adjustment

Enjoying virtual surround
sound

VES (Virtual Enhanced Surround) lets you
enjoy surround sound effects by using sound
imaging to create virtual rear speakers from the
sound of the front speakers (L, R) without
using actual rear speakers.

Use the remote for the operation.

Press DVD DISPLAY during playback.

The Control Menu appears

“VIRTUAL SURROUND”, then press

or ENTER.

The options for “VIRTUAL SURROUND”
appear.

surround effect.

Press ENTER.

To cancel

Select “OFF” in step 3.

To turn off the Control Menu

Press DVD DISPLAY repeatedly until the
Control Menu is turned off.

Tip

You can select the surround effect by pressing VES.
Each time you press the button, the surround effect
changes.

Adjusting the sound

Generating a more dynamic sound

(Dynamic Sound Generator)

Press DSG.

To cancel the DSG, press DSG again.

Adjusting the bass and treble

Press BASS/TREBLE on the remote
repeatedly to select “BASS” or “TREBLE”.

While “BASS” or “TREBLE” appears, press
+ or – on the remote repeatedly to adjust the
level.
