Card is not of SD standard.
●
When cards in capacities of 4 GB or more are used, only SDHC or SDXC Memory Cards are
supported.
[Read Error] / [Write Error] [Please check the card]

Data read has failed.
→ Check whether card has been inserted correctly (→22) .
●
Data write has failed.
→ Turn off the camera and remove the card. Reinsert the card and turn the camera on again.

Card may possibly be damaged.

Try with a different card.
[Cannot record due to incompatible format(NTSC/PAL) data on this card.]

Format the card after saving necessary data on a PC etc. (→66)

Insert a different card.

If recording stops even when using a card of the recommended speed class (→23) , the data writing
speed has dropped. If this happens, we recommend backing up the data on the memory card and
formatting it (→66) .
