If you select one of the melody ringtones, 
the ringtone will continue to sound for 
several seconds if the caller hangs up 
before you answer. You may hear a dial 
tone or no one on the line when you 
answer a call.

Customising ringtones
You can record melodies (max. 30 seconds 
each) from an audio device by connecting 
the included audio cable. These melodies 
can be assigned as user ringtones (page 27, 
36).
Important:
L
The total of about 4 minutes and 30 
seconds (max. 32 melodies) can be 
recorded. The recording time may 
decrease depending on the size of 
melodies already stored in the handset.

If a call is received while the audio cable is 
connected to the handset, disconnect the 
audio cable from the handset and answer 
the call, otherwise you and the caller will 
not hear each other’s voice.
Recording melodies for user ringtones

Connect the handset to the audio device 
(such as a CD player or computer) using 
the included audio cable.
