Appendix A: Network Information Required

The intent of this appendix is to

assist both A/V system integrators and IT managers preparing for the installation of the

GroupSTATION conferencing platform into the enterprise IP and VoIP network

.

For the GroupSTATION and room PC, three (3) total IP addresses are required. The addresses are as follows:
1) For the GroupSTATION for UC conferencing
2) For the GroupSTATION VoIP conferencing
3) For the in-room PC used with the UC conferencing application.

For the first GroupSTATION IP address (Non-VoIP):
The GroupSTATION IP address information (for non-VoIP) is entered under the Networking Menu tab. The
following items will need to be entered:

1) Hostname: ____________________________________________________. The Hostname is a label used

for identification of the Group/HuddleSTATION UC conferencing device connected to the network.

2) Network Type; DHCP or Static. If DHCP, then the address information should auto-fill
3) If

Static, then the following information is needed (the MAC address is provided).

GroupSTATION IP Address (VoIP):

The GroupSTATION IP address information for VoIP is entered under the VoIP Menu tab. The following items
will need to be entered:

1) Hostname: ____________________________________________________. The Hostname is a label used

for identification of the Group/HuddleSTATION VoIP conferencing device connected to the VoIP network.

2) Network Type; DHCP or Static. If DHCP, then the address information should auto-fill
3) If

Static, then the following information is needed (the MAC address is provided).

4) VLAN: The following Information is required if the Host site uses segmented VoIP and data to prioritize VoIP

over data traffic on the LAN/WAN (essentially the network QoS - the car pool lane for VoIP).
