3.8. Guidelines for mounting (IP40 Units)
•
Before mounting the drive, ensure that the chosen location meets the environmental condition requirements for the drive shown in section
10.1
•
The drive must be floor standing, placed on a Horizontal and suitably flat surface
•
The Enclosure must be anchored to an adjacent wall using the mounting points provided
•
All Enclosure vents must remain clear with airflow unobstructed
•
The mounting site and chosen mountings should be sufficient to support the weight of the drives
Note :
Typical drive heat losses are 3% of operating load
conditions.
Above are guidelines only and the operating ambient
temperature of the drive MUST be maintained at all
times.
3.9. Removing the Terminal Cover
3.9.1. Frame Sizes 2& 3
Using a suitable flat blade screwdriver, rotate the two retaining
screws indicated until the screw slot is vertical.
