faxes Is there a problem with
the telephone connec-
tion or with the caller's
fax machine? Check that the machine can make clean.
If it can, have the caller send the fax again.

Is Memory RX enabled? Print the fax from the machine's memory.

Print] set to [ON]? Printing is performed when the specified night time has

faxes Is paper in the machine? If the add paper icon is lit, the machine is out of paper
and received documents are stored in memory. Add
paper.
For the procedure for adding paper, refer to the [User's
Guide Copy Operations].
Is paper jammed in the
machine? In case of a paper jam, received documents are stored
in memory. Remove the jammed paper.
For the procedure for correcting paper jams, refer to
the [User's Guide Copy Operations].
Is the machine out of
toner? No fax can be received if the toner is exhausted. Re-
place the toner cartridge.
For the procedure for replacing the toner cartridges, re-
fer to the [User's Guide Copy Operations].
Is the network cable cor-
rectly connected? Check the network cable for connection and, if discon-
nected, connect it securely.
Are cables connected
correctly? Check that the network cable, modular cable, and any
other relevant connectors are correctly connected.
Is the memory insuffi-
cient? Load paper if it is empty, and then print the faxes stored
in memory.

the specified F-code? If an incorrect Sub address is received, a communica-
tion error occurs and the fax cannot be received. Have
the sender check the Sub address on their fax machine.
Is the memory insuffi-
cient? Load paper if it is empty, and then print the faxes stored
in memory.
Is [Closed Network RX]
enabled? If [Closed Network RX] is enabled, the machine accepts
faxes sent from specific recipients. For details, contact
your administrator.
