The [Fax Configuration] menu is displayed only for models in which the FAX Kit FK-510 is installed.

[Tray Lock] displays different trays depending on what optional trays are installed.

[User Name]

Enter the sender name.

[Fax Number]

Enter the sender fax number.

[Scan Contrast]

Select the scan contrast.

[Image Quality]

Select the image quality.

[Default TX]

Select the priority transmission mode.

[Header]

Select whether to enable the header.

[Memory RX Mode]

Select whether to enable the Memory RX mode.
When enabling the Memory RX mode, enter reception start time
and end time, and password.

[Auto RX Mode]

Select whether to enable the Auto RX mode.

[Number of Rings]

Specify the number of phone rings before the machine answers an
incoming call.

[Footer Enable]

Select whether to enable the footer print.

[Reduction RX]

Specify whether to receive large-size originals by reducing the size.

[Print at Receiving]

Specify the print timing of received data.

[Forward Mode]

Specify whether to forward receive fax documents.
Print only: Does not forward received fax documents.
Forward: Forwards received fax documents to the specified fax
number or E-mail address.
Print & Forward: Forwards received fax documents to the specified
fax number or E-mail address, and prints on this machine at the
same time.

[Forward Address]

Enter the destination address (fax number or E-mail address) when
[Forward] or [Print & Forward] is specified for [Forward Mode].

[Basic Mode/Advanced Mode]

Specify the mail mode (basic mode, advanced mode) used for
sending an Internet fax.

[Max TX Size]

Specify the upper limit of transmission size for sending in the ad-
vanced mode.

[Max Resolution]

Specify the upper limit of transmission image quality for sending in
the advanced mode.

[Coding Mode]

Specify the upper limit of compression coding system for sending
scan data in the advanced mode.

[Closed Network RX]

Specify the closed network.

[Tone/Pulse]

Specify either to use tone or pulse dialing.

[Line Monitor Volume]

Specify the line monitor volume.

[PSTN/PBX]

Specify whether to use PSTN or PBX. To use a PBX, enter an ex-
ternal calling number.

[Reporting]

Specify the reports to be printed.

[Tray Lock]

Specify the tray to be disabled.
