Tips
- To change the settings of the [Network] tab, click [Apply]. After the message [Update Successful] is dis-
played, in the [System] tab - [Maintenance] menu - [NIC and Printer Controller Reset], click [Reset]. Oth-
erwise, the change in settings is not enabled.
4.3.27 [Network] - [IPv4 Configuration]
Configure the IPv4 Configuration of the network.
Configure the settings and click [Apply] to apply the change.

Item Description
[IP Address] Specify the IP address for this machine.
[Subnet Mask] Specify the subnet mask of the network to be connected.
[Default Gateway] Specify the default gateway address of the network to be connect-
ed.
[Base Port Number] Specify the port number used for RAW print.
[DHCP (APIPA)] Select this item to assign an IP address automatically using the
DHCP server or APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing).
[IP Address in NVRAM] Select this item to use a fixed IP address.
[Enable DNS Server] Select this check box to use DNS.
[DNS Server Address] If the [Enable DNS Server] check box is selected, specify the IP ad-
dress of the DNS server.
