Specifying Initial User Data

Various settings for the machine’s user data can be specified.

Refer to the following table for details on each function.

The settings for items 2 and 3 can also be specified from LSD (Local Setup for
Diagnostic). For details, refer to “About Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD)” on
page 7-14
.

If optional Network interface card NC-502 and Scanner unit SU-502 are installed,
settings for items 2 and 3 can also be specified from the network tool PageScope
Web Connection. For details, refer to “What is PageScope Web Connection?” on
page 7-9
.

Selecting the “INITIAL USER DATA” menu

Press the [Utility] key twelve times.

“INITIAL USER DATA” appears.

From the 10-Key Pad, press the key ([1] through [3]) for the INITIAL USER
DATA function that you wish to set.

The INITIAL USER DATA functions are as follows:
1 DATE&TIME
2 USER FAX NO.
3 USER NAME

Tip
To quit changing initial user data settings, press the [No/C] key. “STOP
SETTING?” appears. Press the [Yes] key to quit changing the settings.
