To fax using speed dialing
If speed dial numbers have already been programmed, the fax number of a
recipient can be specified quickly by entering the corresponding speed dial number.
For details on programming speed dial numbers, refer to “Specifying the Setting for
“SPEED DIAL”” on page 6-8.
1 Load the document into the Automatic document feeder.
❍ For details on placing the document on the Original glass, refer to“To fax
documents positioned on the Original glass” on page 3-13.
2 If necessary, change the “Resolution” setting (p. 3-11).
3 Press the [Speed Dial] key, and
then use the 10-Key Pad to enter
the 3-digit speed dial number.

Tip
If the wrong speed dial number
has been pressed, press the
[Panel Reset] key.
4 Press the [Start] key.
The machine automatically starts scanning the document and sending the fax.

Tip
To stop the fax transmission, press the [Stop] key, and then press the [Yes] key
when the next screen appears.
