SYMPTOM
No picture is taken when the Shutter button is pressed.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
4 The card is full.
5 The batteries ran out.
6 Indications disappear on
the viewfinder/monitor or
the control panel. On the
control panel, the battery
remaining power
indicator will blink.
7 The memory gauge is
full.
8 A write-protect adhesive
seal is placed on the
card or there is no card
in the camera.
9 The Mode dial is set to

CORRECTIVE ACTION
4 Replace the card, delete
unwanted pictures or transfer
the data to a computer and
delete all of the pictures.
5 Replace the batteries with
new ones.
6 Replace the batteries with
new ones. (Do not open the
Battery compartment cover
when the Card access lamp is
blinking.)
7 Wait until there is room in the
memory gauge.
8 Insert a new card in the
camera.
9 Set the mode dial to P, A, S,
M, S-Prg or

The date recorded with the image data is wrong.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1 The date was not set.
2 The camera has been
left for approx. 1 week
with the batteries
removed and the date
setting is canceled.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Set the date. It is also
possible to set the date via a
personal computer using
CAMEDIA Master. The clock
adjustment is not factory-
preset.
2 Try setting the date again.
