Disclaimer (Battery Life)

Battery life may vary considerably depending on product model,

configuration, applications, power management settings and features

utilized, as well as the natural performance variations produced by the

design of individual components. Published battery life numbers are

achieved on select models and configurations tested by Toshiba at the

time of publication. Recharge time varies depending on usage. Battery

may not charge while computer is consuming full power.
After going through many charge and discharge cycles, the battery will

lose its ability to perform at maximum capacity and will need to be

replaced. This is a normal phenomenon for all batteries. To purchase a

new battery pack, see the accessories information that is shipped with your

computer.

RTC battery

The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time

Clock (RTC) and calendar.

AC adaptor

The AC adaptor provides power to the system

and recharges the batteries when they are low.

It comes with a detachable power cord which will

either have a 2-pin or 3-pin plug enclosure.
Because it is universal, it can receive a range

of AC voltage from 100 to 240 volts; however,

the output current varies among different models.

Using the wrong model can damage your

computer. Refer to the

AC adaptor

section in
