About HW Diagnostics
HW Diagnostics starts a diagnostics test of the server's hardware devices. You can select a single
device or a combination of devices to test.
Use the HW Diagnostics Program to check:
- Whether the server operates normally.
- For anything abnormal or any failure while the server is in use.
- Whether or not optional devices are working normally.
Starting HW Diagnostics Program
Starting up with the diskette
1.
Set the HW Diagnostics Program diskette. (Set the diskette writable.)
2. Turn on the power of the server.
HW Diagnostics Program starts.
NOTE: If you have not create the HW Diagnostics Program diskette, create it from [Utilities] – [Create Floppy
Disks].
