HW Setup
HDD Priority Options
This option lets you set the priority for HDD detection. If the first detected 
HDD has a boot command, the system will boot from the HDD.
■
If only a supervisor password is set, please note the following.
■
The menu above will appear when you use the user password to 
start the computer if the ‘Able to run HW Setup’ setting is 
configured.
■
The menu above will not appear when you use the user password 
to start the computer if the ‘Unable to run HW Setup’ setting is 
configured.
■
If the both supervisor and user password are set, please note the 
following.
■
The menu above will appear when you use the supervisor and user 
password to start the computer if the 'Able to run HW Setup' setting 
is configured.
■
The menu above will not appear when you use the user password 
to start the computer if the ‘Unable to run HW Setup’ setting is 
configured.
■
The menu above appear when you use the supervisor password to 
start the computer even if the ‘Unable to run HW Setup’ setting is 
configured.
■
The selection method above does not change the boot priority settings 
in HW Setup.
■
If you press a key other than one of those above or if the selected 
device is not installed, the system will boot according to the current 
setting in HW Setup.
Built-in HDD1

Built-in HDD2

The computer will look for the Built-in HDD1 first, 
followed by the Built-in HDD2 (Default).
Built-in HDD2

Built-in HDD1
The computer will look for the Built-in HDD2 first, 
followed by the Built-in HDD1.

If a boot command is not found on the first detected HDD, the system 
will not boot from the other HDD. It will search the next device in the 
boot priority for a boot command.
■
On those models with only a single drive, this item will not be displayed.
