Problem Correction
When the denied MAC address is cleared in the
Access Point Configuration Utility, the message
"The deletion of history failed" is displayed.
· The access point may be busy. Wait a while and
reexecute the utility.
· By using the ping command, check whether the
network is disconnected.
· When the network is used from the remote PC, it
must be connected with a community name with
writing authority. Check whether the specified
community name is correct, and the authority is
correctly set up.
802.1X Function
Problem Correction
The following message is posted to the event viewer
application log (source name: TSAPSVC):
“Authentication of the station <MAC address>
failed.”
· Authentication failed. Check the RADIUS server
settings and log.
The following message is posted to the event viewer
application log (source name: TSAPSVC):
“Authentication of the station <MAC address>
timed-out.”
· Check whether the IP address, port, and shared
secret of the RADIUS server defined by the access
point setting utility are correct
· Use the ping command to check whether the
RADIUS server responds.
The following message is posted to the event viewer
application log (source name: TSAPSVC):
“Configuration of <Property name> is invalid.
Service is stopping.”
· Redefine the <Property name> using the access
point setting utility. If it does not remedy the error,
reinstall the program.
The following message is posted to the event viewer
application log (source name: TSAPSVC):
“Required component(s) not found. Service is
stopping.”
· The component may not be installed normally.
Reinstall the component.
