Checking or Repairing a Volume (cvfsck)
You can use the
cvfsck
command to check or repair an Xsan volume.
$ cvfsck [options] volume
cvfsck Command Options

The name of the volume to check or repair.
Option
Description
-d
Display extra debugging information.
-e
Display file extents statistics.
-f
Report fragmentation.
-g
Print journal recovery log.
-j
Perform journal recovery.
-J
Display raw journal data.
-K
Reset journal.
Warning: Resetting the journal might introduce metadata
inconsistencies. Don’t use unless absolutely necessary.
-l
Record problems in the system log.
-n
Check volume in read-only mode.
-r
Relocate files before changing volume configuration.
-v
Display all available information.
-x
Report statistics in comma-separated form for use in a
spreadsheet.
