Using Text

Mirror: Beyond the edge of the source image, the texture source is reflected like in a
mirror—duplicated, tiled, and alternately reversed to encompass the full width and
height of the text object.
Animating a Texture
You can set keyframes for the offset values of the texture source to create a moving
element within your text object. In the following example, an image of a leopard lying
in the grass is used as the texture source for the text “leopard.”
To animate the texture offset:

Apply a texture to the text object.

Go to the frame where you want the texture animation to begin.

Enable Record (press A).
Note: Keep in mind that when Record is enabled, a keyframe is created for any change
you make to an object in your project.

To position the texture, do one of the following:
Original text object prior to texture
Image used as texture source
Record button
