Deleting individual program steps

1. Use the arrow keys to mark the desired program step.

The marked program step is highlighted in blue.

2. Press the Delete key.

function key to save the change.

Temp

Temperature for the program step.
Equivalent to directly editing in the program view.

Temp Inc./Dec.

For changing the temperature to the next cycle.
Values ranging from -10.0 °C to +10.0 °C in increments of 0.1 °C are possible.
You can switch between positive and negative values by pressing the

+/-

function key.

Gradient

Column temperature gradient in the thermoblock.
Enter the temperature range into the

from

(left-hand side of block) and

to

(right-hand

side of block) fields. The

Temp

and

Temp Incr.

fields are deactivated.

To display the temperatures in the individual columns, press the

ShowGrad

function

key. The temperatures displayed there are interpolated approximation values.
Maximum gradient range and course depend on the type of block used. To use the
extended gradient spread on devices with silver block (Mastercycler pro S and
Mastercycler ep gradient S), define the appropriate cycler type in the program header
in advance(see p. 42).

TIME

Hold time for the program step.
Equivalent to directly editing in the program view.

Time Inc./Dec.

For changing the hold time to the next cycle.
Values ranging from -01:00 to +01:00 in increments of 1 s are possible.
You can switch between positive and negative values by pressing the

+/-

function key.

Ramp

Temperature control speed of the thermoblock.
Values ranging from 1 % to 75 % and also 100 % are possible.
