10.1.1 Cleaning the housing
 Clean the surfaces of the Mastercycler pro with a damp, lint-free cloth. Use a neutral lab cleaner if
necessary.
Instructions on disinfecting and decontaminating the device are described separately(see Disinfection/
decontamination on p. 76).
10.1.2 Cleaning the heated lid
10.1.2.1 Moving the heated lid into cleaning position
1. Push the heated lid into rear position.
2. To open the lock, press the left and right latches underneath the front edge of the heated lid upwards
(1).
3. Fold up the heated lid (2) until the stand (4) is locked.
CAUTION! Caution when using aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals may damage both the device and its accessories.
 Do not use any aggressive chemicals on the device and accessories such as strong or weak
bases, strong acids, acetone, formaldehyde, halogenated hydrocarbons or phenol.
 If the device becomes contaminated with aggressive chemicals, clean it immediately with a
neutral cleaning agent.
We recommend that you regularly clean the surfaces of the Mastercycler pro.
