508. Apply a small amount of

rubber lubricant to the inside of the
support ring.

Remember to use only a small
amount of rubber lubricant as
it can contaminate the PAX
gel, which can affect tire bal-
ance.

509. Apply a small amount of

rubber lubricant to the large tire
bead diameter to assist when mov-
ing it to the outside of the rim on
the bottom side.

510. Place the tire and support

ring over the rim and push down.

511. Bring the upper PAX arm

over the tire and position the dual
roller with the wide roller down.

512. Position the roller with

some surface over the rim’s flange.

513.

Rotate the wheel/tire

assembly. Press down with the
roller. May take two to three revo-
lutions. Stop when the support ring
is about 1/2-inch below the rim
flange.

514. Crouch down in front of the

machine (6 o’clock position). Insert
two short lift bars between the tire
and rim close together. Note that
the entire lower tire bead should
be in the rim’s drop center before
attempting to flip the bead to the
outside of the rim.

As noted in 509, a small amount

of rubber lubricant applied to the
outside edge of the tire will help in
maneuvering the tire bead to the
outside of the rim.

515. Separate the two bars 8 to

10-inches.

516. Fold the two bars inward to

disengage the lower bead from the
rim.
