the concentricity between the tire
bead and the rim would signal that
the bead is not correctly position-
ing onto the rim.
700. Configuring
Machine For PAX
Tire Service
Read and understand the
complete portion of the
installation process prior too
servicing your first tire. This
will help prevent damage to
the tire and wheel.
Refer to the line drawing dia-
gram (page 5) often to under-
stand the sequence of
servicing.
Remove any rubber lubricant
from the inside area of the tire
as this can contaminate the
PAX gel allowing it to reposi-
tion and affect tire balance.
Remove any PAX gel from the
tire bead area as this could
result in tire to rim slippage
and ultimately affect tire bal-
ance.
700. Place the wheel riser on the
table top and clamp.
701. Install tool holders in the
upper and lower left arms.
702. Next, install the double
roller system in the upper tool
holder with the small roller down.
703. Finally, install the tapered
roller in the lower tool holder.
