Error and remedy

Overrange
Remedy: Check transmitter for probe break.

Underrange
Remedy: Check transmitter for probe short circuit.

Incorrect terminal temperature
Remedy: Cool down the terminals of the thermocouple transmitter to the
admissible temperature range.

Wireless timeout of the channel
Remedy: Optimize wireless transmission path and, if necessary, increase
wireless timeout parameter and change transmitter battery.

No transmitter signals are available when the signal quality of the current
channel (

key) is displayed.

Remedy: Optimize wireless transmission path and, if necessary, increase
wireless timeout parameter and change transmitter battery.

Code request for changing to the startup or parameter level is active.
Remedy: Enter code.
This function is not active on delivery.
You can use the parameter level to assign a code (minimum 1 digit, maxi-
mum 4 digits) individually for each level (In and PA).

TIP!
When you enter a code in the parameter level, keep this code in a safe place for future level
access.
These instructions include a field for you to use for this purpose.
If you have lost the code, please contact our customer service department.

Device will not start.
Remedy: Check voltage supply/cabling.

Yellow LED does not
flash

Device will not receive wireless telegrams.
Remedy: Check the battery status of all existing transmitters.
Do the set radio frequencies of transmitters and receivers correspond to
each other? Is the antenna screw-fitted to the receiver or connected by
cable? Are the locations of transmitter and receiver antennas suitable for
wireless transmission (not enclosed in metal, etc.)?

Interface RS485 will not work or is faulty.
Remedy: Check cabling including polarity. Use a shielded cable for longer
connections or if there are sources of interference. With RS485, requests
and responses are made on the same line. Especially with several slaves,
set the minimum response time for all stations sufficiently high, so that
even the slowest station will not discard telegrams directed to it.
