FEATURES

The Klein Tools Ranger™ TDR is a portable time domain refl ectometer

(TDR) and voice-data-video cable tester. It measures cable length,

calibrates Nominal Velocity of Propagation (NVP) values, fi nds faults in

cables, and provides built-in tone generation for cable tracing.

• ±1% and ±3 ft (1 m) length accuracy.
• Stores up to two NVP values.
• Displays length reading in feet or meters.
• Extra large seven-segment, back-lit LCD screen.
• Tests most types of copper cable including data, voice, video, lamp

wire, siamese, and NM cables.

• Discovers NVP values for cables with known length.
• Automatic pre-test voltage checks.
• Identifi es cable faults.
• Tone generator with selectable tone cadence to easily trace cables

with an analog tone probe (not included).

• Conserves power and supports long battery life with auto power off.
