3 Row Spike and Reel Harrow
Installation
See Figures 2-55 thru 2-68 for 3 Row Spike and Reel
Harrow placement dimensions.
1. Attach spike harrow arm assemblies to rear frame
using u-bolts and 5/8-11 hex lock nuts (See
Figure 3-20.)
2. Attach spike bars to spike harrow arm assemblies
per placement drawings using bar clamps or bar
clamps w/ tabs, 1/2-13 x 4-1/2 hex head cap screws
and hex lock nuts.
3. Verify that the spring assembly dimension is 21-3/4”.
This should set the reels even with the bottom of the
sweeps. Remove excess slack through the
adjustment pin (p/n 164336) yet allow bolt to turn.
Once the 21-3/4” dimension is achieved, tighten
double nuts to secure.
4. Attach reel assembly to spike harrow arm assemblies
using u-bolt and 5/8-11 hex lock nuts.
