Hydraulic Installation

NOTES

See Figures 3-8 through 3-14 for hydraulic cylinder
fittings (factory installed and those installed during
setup.)

Refer to Figures 3-8 and 3-10 for lift and fold hydraulic
diagrams for 9630-20 models.

Refer to Figures 3-9 and 3-10 for lift and fold hydraulic
diagrams for 9630-24 models.

Refer to Figures 3-11 and 3-12 for lift and fold hydraulic
diagrams for 9630-28 models.

Refer to Figures 3-13 and 3-14 for lift and fold hydraulic
diagrams for 9630-30 and 9630-34 models.

1.

Hydraulic fold and lift cylinders should be attached to
the frame and wings at the factory.

NOTE

Rod ends of fold cylinders need to be left unassembled
until fold hydraulic system is fully charged with oil to
prevent machine damage.

CAUTION

2.

Install 90 degree regular adapter fittings in both ends
of all lift cylinders (4 x 10 and 3-3/4 x 10) (See
Figure 3-13.)

3.

Install the 8 port (20’ - 24’ models) or 16 port (28’ -
34’ models) manifold assembly to the manifold
bracket on the rear of the center frame using 1/2-13 x
3-1/2 hex head cap screws and hex lock nuts.

4.

Attach the 8 port (28’ - 34’ models) manifold
assembly to the front manifold bracket on the
implement using 1/2-13 x 3-1/2 hex head cap screws
and hex lock nuts.

5.

Attach hose clamps to the hitch using 3/8-16 x 2-1/2
hex head cap screws and hex lock nuts.

6.

Attach hose clamps to the center frame and wings
using 3/8-16 x 2-3/4 hex head cap screws and hex
lock nuts (See Figures 2-1 and 2-2.)

7.

Install lift system hoses per Figures 3-8 (9630-20),
3-9 (
9630-24), Figure 3-11 (9630-28), or Figure
3-13
(9630-30 and 9630-34.) Wrap lift system hoses
with blue hose wrap.

8.

Install fold system hoses per Figure 3-10 (9630-20
and 9630-24), Figure 3-12 (
9630-28), or Figure
3-14
(9630-30 and 9630-34.) Wrap fold system
hoses with yellow hose wrap.

Restrictors are installed in the rod end of wing
fold cylinders to prevent uncontrolled dropping
of wings. Removal of these restrictors, or
improper installation can result in serious
damage to the implement.
