Before you can access the Specimen Editor, you must first define a test. The test does not have to
be complete, but a test must exist before you can access the Specimen Editor.
Specimen Editor
You can add any number of specimens to a test. Specimens are listed in the top panel of the Specimen
Editor. Details are shown below the specimen list. To sort the list, click in the column header. To view the
details of a specific specimen in the lower panel, select the specimen in the list.
When you run a test, select a specimen for the test from the list. After a specimen has been used (assigned)
for a test, the specimen cannot be deleted from the list. A specimen that has been used by a test can be
edited. The properties of the specimen at the time of the test are stored with the test run data.
