Setting up the Low-Profile Transducer
Interface

Important

This section includes information related to the Low-Profile
Transducer Interface (TI). For SWIFT transducers designed to
operate with the newer Mini TI, there is a separate manual that
documents the Mini TI setup (MTS part number 100214316).

Overview

Three different software configurations are used by the TI, depending on whether
you will be using the SWIFT sensor on the test track (spinning application) or in
the laboratory (non-spinning application). Angular transformation is required on
the test track only. If you are using angular transformation, you must define the
encoder resolution. If you are using the same transducer and TI for data
collection and simulation testing, you must change the software configuration
before the TI can be used for simulation testing.
