Zeroing the Transducer Interface
Installing the Transducer
Note
When the square head setscrew on the slip ring/encoder is aligned
opposite the center of the flat on the axle spacer (between the mounting
screws on the anti-rotate bracket when it is installed) the index mark is
under the encoder sensor.
2. Rotate the adapter plate, as necessary, until the Fz on the axes icon (see the
next figure) printed on the transducer label is pointing up. If the icon is not
visible use the mark placed on the adapter plate during installation for
orientation.
3. Hold the inclinometer against a flat on the hub adapter at 90° from the
connector brackets (see the next figure).
4. Adjust the adapter plate, as necessary, until the inclinometer reads 45.0°,
±0.1° when oriented as shown in next figure.
