6. Maintenance
6.1.General points
Make safe or improve the following items by meticulous maintenance measures:
- Operation
- Availability
- Service life of the equipment.
6.2.Inspection
Before using check
- that the safety pins and connectors are intact and correctly positioned
- that all the safety devices are fixed correctly and in compliance with the instructions
- that hydraulic connectors, if fitted, are properly connected
- that the universal joint, if fitted, is correctly connected.
Only carry out the inspection when the engine of the towing vehicle is tur-
ned off.

6.3.Maintenance instructions
Before starting to carry out the maintenance instructions, all the recommen-
dations for the maintenance of the RS centrifugal spreader must be read
and all the points mentioned observed! Accident risk!
Only carry out maintenance work, repairs and cleaning when the engine of
the towing vehicle is turned off.
