Step 4: Installing the
Feedback Option Card
Phase II Drives

Important: Do not use a screwdriver to pry the P1 terminal plug from the

circuit board. This may damage the plug.

Step 5: Installing the Control
Assembly (if removed in
step 2)

The procedure for installing the Control Assembly is the reverse of removal.

Task

Description
Remove the terminal block P1 from the Resolver Feedback option card

It is much easier to remove before the card is installed
Insert short pins of through-board pin connectors into mating connectors on the main
control board

The end with short pins must plug into the main control board
Plug mating connectors of Resolver Feedback option card onto long pins of through-board
pin connectors

The end with longer pins must plug into the Resolver Feedback option card
Secure card to stand-offs, using screw (supplied with this kit) and captive screws on circuit
board, tighten screws with phillips screwdriver (min/max 6 in-lb / 8 in-lb)
