Collecting a Magnitude Measurement
1. Connect the transducer to the current location.
2. From the Data Collection screen, press READ/OK to start ranging
your measurement for the current point. The Magnitude Measurement
screen appears.
3. A bar display and ranging graphic appears on the screen while the
Enpac Ex ranges the data. The Enpac Ex continually updates the
magnitude value for the measurement. The word "Alarm" appears on
the screen (upper-right side) if there is an alarm condition.
4. Once the magnitude reading is steady and the input signal is not
overloading the data collector, press READ/OK to accept the
measured value.
Once the Enpac Ex stores the measurement, the Data Collection screen
displays the next point in the list (route).
IMPORTANT
You do not need to press READ/OK if you set Auto
Store to "On" in the Instrument Configuration screen. The
Enpac Ex automatically ranges and collects the
measurement. See Instrument Configuration Parameters
on page 107.
TIP
The green LED illuminates when the measurement is
complete. See LED Indicators on page 12.
