■ Piecing
Sewing two pieces of fabric together is called piecing. When cutting pieces for quilt blocks make
sure the seam allowance is 6.5 mm (1/4 inch).

A To align a 6.5 mm (1/4 inch) seam allowance with the
right edge of the presser foot.
