• Filling rate: Rate at which the dosing cylinder is refilled after the
titration. The maximum filling rate depends on the cylinder volume
of the exchange or dosing unit used (see Section 3.8.6).
Under Monitoring the parameters for monitoring the measured value,
the dosing rate (an average rate) as well as the temperature are de-
fined. Remote signals or RS commands can be assigned to the moni-
tored quantities. This can be used, for example, to switch a thermostat
on/off if necessary. Monitoring is not used for parameterization of the
control behavior.
The following parameters are identical for all monitored quantities.
• Monitoring: The monitoring of the corresponding parameter is
switched on or off. The monitoring of the dosing rate starts 10 s af-
ter the start of the titration at the earliest.
• Lower limit: When the monitored quantity falls below this value, a
certain action (see below) is triggered.
• Lower hysteresis: The lower hysteresis represents a tolerance
range for the lower limit (see Fig. 4.13). With the action "Wait"
dosing does not continue until the monitored quantity has ex-
ceeded the lower limit plus this value. Only positive values are al-
lowed.
• Upper limit: A certain action (see below) is triggered if this value is
exceeded.
• Upper hysteresis: The upper hysteresis represents a tolerance
range for the upper limit (see Fig. 4.13). With the action "Wait"
dosing does not continue until the monitored quantity has fallen be-
low the upper limit minus this value. Only positive values are al-
lowed.
• Action: Definition of the action to be taken when the limits of the
monitored quantity are infringed. With the actions Hold and Wait the
other quantities continue to be monitored in the background.
No action will be taken with None.
The method is stopped immediately with Exit method.
The current command (STAT, DOS) is quit and the following com-
mand in the method is started with Skip command.
