Changing the filter
The flow must be stopped before changing the filter.
1 Removing the inline filter
￭ Unscrew the pressure screws (29-1) from the inline filter.
2 Unscrewing the filter screw
￭ Screw the filter screw (29-4) out of the filter housing (29-2) with
the aid of two adjustable wrenches (6.2621.000).
3 Inserting the filter
￭ Remove the old filter (29-3) using tweezers.
￭ Place the new filter (29-3) flat in the filter housing (29-2) using
tweezers.
4 Mounting filter screw
￭ Screw the filter screw (29-4) back into the filter housing (29-2)
and tighten by hand. Then additionally tighten slightly with two
adjustable wrenches (6.2621.000).
5 Remounting the inline filter
￭ Screw pressure screws (29-1) back onto the inline filter.
6 Rinsing the inline filter
￭ Dismantle the guard column (if present) and the separation col-
umn and replace with a coupling (6.2744.040).
￭ Rinse the instrument with eluent.
