WATER-COOLED TORCH BODY AND CABLE ASSEMBLY
The water-cooled torch and cable assembles ncorporate water shut-off valves allowng the conductor tube to be removed
wthout shuttng off the water supply. Ths reduces the chance of ntroducng mosture nto the conductor tube and condut.
Refer to Fgure 4-1 showng the water shut-off valves on the QFW Seres Torch Body and Cable Assembly.

A water supply provdng not less than ¾ gallons/mnute (2.84 lters/mnute) water flow must be used durng operaton. The
water supply should be nstalled to run when the power source s turned “on” f possble to avod any damage to the torch
and cable assembly.
CAUTION
Operating a water-cooled torch and cable
assembly without water or restricted flow will
result in damage to the cable assembly.
If the threaded power connecton s removed from the QRW seres block assembly make sure the component parts makng up the
check valve remans nsde of the block assembly. If the components are removed, make sure they are nstalled properly.
