2.01 How to Use this Manual
To ensure safe operaton, read the entre manual, ncludng
the chapters on safety nstructons and warnngs.
Throughout ths manual, the words WARNING, CAUTION, and
NOTE may appear. Pay partcular attenton to the nformaton
provded under these headngs. These specal annotatons
are easly recognzed as follows:

2.02 Receipt of Equipment
When you receve the equpment, check t aganst the nvoce
to make sure t s complete and nspect the equpment for
possble damage due to shppng. If there s any damage,
notfy the carrer mmedately to file a clam. Furnsh complete
nformaton concernng damage clams or shppng errors to
the locaton n your area lsted n the nsde back cover of ths
manual. Include a full descrpton of the parts n error.

2.03 Introduction
The Tweco ® Robotcs Quck Fxed Automaton Torch seres
are offered n ether ar-cooled or water/ar-cooled cable
assembles. Both seres of the Quck Fxed Automaton Torches
are offered n lengths 4ft. (91cm) – 15ft. (5m).
2.04 Standard features
Quck conductor tube lock for easy conductor tube
replacement.
Inner cable protectve jacket.
Heavy cable support sprngs on both front and rear.
Kevlar ® /Nylon outer protectve cable cover.
Water-cooled cables have bult n water shut-off valves
n the front housng.
Quck hose connectons on all water-cooled cables.
Internal purge hose for sprayng ant-spatter through
the conductor tube and nozzle.
All cable assembles are furnshed wth a Tweco ® ,
Mller ® , and Lncoln ® rear connector plug.
2.05 Description
QF Series Air-cooled Torch Body and Cable Assembly
The ar-cooled QFA cable assembly uses QTR66 ar-cooled
conductor tubes. It has an ar-cooled power cable rated at
600 amperes @ 60% duty cycle.
