Introduction
Description of Unit
These kits add small seeds planting capability to many
Great Plains 7-foot and 10-foot end-wheel drills.
These kits also replace an older kit (before July 1991),
and may be used to upgrade drills with the previous
small seeds components. The kit drive is independent of
main seed rate, and unaffected by changes to main seed
box Drive Type.
Compatible Drills
Before ordering or installing a kit, check the serial num-
ber plate on the drill against both of the following tables.
The drill product number prefix must be one in the first
table (at right). The specific kit required (from the second
table) depends on drill width, row spacing, and whether
fertilizer or Native Grass is also installed.
