Hydraulic Hose & Light Harness

Refer to Figure 6
Note: The light harness

and hoses

will be pre-assembled

and hooked up to cylinders, except for the wing cylinders.
They will need to be routed along hitch assembly

as

shown. They will be rolled up and fastened to center
frame during shipment. Untie hoses and light harness
with tractor couplers.

12. Remove the 1x6 1/2 Gr. 8 hex bolts

and slide hitch pole

forward. The hitch pole

should be extended far

enough to prevent the seedbed conditioner from contact-
ing the host machine during turns.

13. Unroll light harness

and hoses

and route them along

left side of hitch assembly

, through hitch pole tube

and up through hose holder

as shown. Leave about 3

foot of hose and wire harness in front of hose holder. Re-
install the 1x6 1/2 Gr. 8 hex bolts

, 1 lock washers and 1

nuts.

14. Remove hose clamps

and route hoses

and light har-

ness

across blocks and re-install hose clamps

. Snug

up the hose clamp bolts

but do not pinch the light har-

ness or hoses.

15. Attach the hose wraps

around hoses and wire harness

and be sure they do not drag on ground or get pinched
when turning.

Wings

Refer to Figure 7
16. Use fork truck or overhead hoist to move the wing assem-

bly

closer to center section. Set wing assembly on

stands if available. Leave wing assembly folded in ship-
ping position until wings are installed and hydraulic system
is charged.

17. Remove 1x7 hex bolts

and align holes in wing frame

assembly

with holes in center frame and re-install 1x7

hex bolts

, secure with 1 nylon lock nut. Bolts must be

installed so the head of the bolt is in the hex bolt stop.
Hinge bolts should be drawn down snug but do not torque
as wing needs to pivot freely.

18. Attach base end of outer wing cylinders

to lug on inner

wing frame with 1x3 11/16 pins

, secure with

1.5x1.00x0.75 machine washer

and 3/16x2 cotter pin.

19. Do not attach rod end of fold cylinders

until system has

been purged of air or connect hoses to tractor until hoses
are hooked up to cylinders, See “Purging Hydraulic Sys-
tem
” on page 10.
