Purging Hydraulic System
Wing Cylinder Hoses
Refer to Figure 10
25. Attach hose
to the rod end of wing cylinder . Attach
hose to base end of outer wing cylinder , See
“Hydraulic Connectors and Torque” on page 13 for
proper hose hookup.
26. Put hose wraps around hoses as shown.
27. Once the hoses have been routed through hitch assem-
bly and the outer wing cylinder hoses have been hooked
up the machine may be hooked to tractor or fork lift, See
“Hydraulic Hose Hookup” on page 9.
Note: Make sure adequate oil is in the reservoir for the pump
as it will require several gallons of oil to charge system.
Do not connect rod end of fold cylinders before they
are charged with oil.
Hydraulic Purging
Note: Be sure the rod end of fold cylinders and are un-
pinned and wood blocks are supporting the fold cyl-
inders so the cylinders won’t hit anything while being
purged.
Refer to Figure 11
28. Fully extend the lift cylinders
(yellow handles) until the
center section is fully raised. Flip the transport locks
up out of the way. Fully extend and retract the hydraulic
cylinders multiple times to purge all air from the system
and check for leaks.
29. After purging, you may connect the rod end of the inside
wing fold cylinders to rocker with the 1x3 11/16
pins , 1.5x1.00x0.75 machine washer and 3/16x2 cot-
ter pin.
30. Connect the outside wing cylinders to h-bracket
with 1x8 5/8 special thread bolt , two 1 flat washers
and 1 nylon insert lock nut .
31. Bend cotter pin and tighten 1 nylon insert lock nut snug
but do not over tighten.
Note: If machine is equipped with the hydraulic down pres-
sure option, refer to the Hydraulic Down Pressure of
“Operator’s Manual” for the preparation and setup be-
fore going to the field.
