Install Meter Drives
Refer to Figure 8
20. At the lower rear right corner of the seed box side
wall , remove one each:
803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT
804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT
802-034C HHCS 1/2-13X1 1/4 GR5
These fasteners are not re-used.
21. Select one new:
133-163K 2600 SMLSDS RH MOUNT&DRIVE ASY
and two sets new:
802-034C HHCS 1/2-13X1 1/4 GR5
804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT
803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT
22. Position the mount over the lower holes and
drop the two bolts in the holes to verify
alignment. Add a lock washer and spin on a
nut , finger tight.
23. Select two sets new:
802-203C HFSS 1/2-13X1 1/2 GR5
803-169C NUT HEX FLG. LOCK 1/2-13 PLT.
24. Using a flanged bolt and flanged lock nut ,
secure the top end of the mount to the left rear
corner of the main seed box where the handles or
lights were formerly mounted on the box.
25. Tighten all fasteners to torque specifications.
Note: The handles and lights are not re-installed at this
time.
26. Repeat step 20 through step 25 for the center and
right sections.
Secure Wind Shields
Refer to Figure 9
27. If the wind shields
are pre-installed on the seed
cups, remove and save them, to prevent loss or
damage during seed box installation.
Squeeze the tabs at the top. Tilt the shield
backward and out. These are re-installed at
step 121 on page 21.
