Refer to Figure 27. Striped arrows show chain direction.
89. At the clutch plate, slide the jackshaft input
sprocket and washers left, until they reach the
bearing.
90. Select the saved:
805-180C PIN ROLL 1/4 X 1 1/2 LG PLT
Drive the roll pin into the shaft just to the right of
the sprocket .
91. Tighten input idler when longest span of chain has
1 ⁄
4
inch (6 mm) slack.
92. Repeat step 75 through step 91 for the center and
right drill sections.
Small Seeds Drive Chains
This and all remaining steps are the same with or without
Fertilizer installed. Start with left drill section.
Refer to Figure 28. Striped arrow shows chain direction.
93. Loosen the set screws on:
808-194C SPKT 40B22 7/8 HEX BORE & SS
Slide it to the right and align it in the same plane as
the Small Seeds drive input sprocket
and idler.
94. Select one new:
136-078D CHAIN RL #40 52 PITCHES
95. Route chain around jackshaft output sprocket, Small
Seeds input sprocket and Small Seeds input idler.
Make sure chain clip opening faces away from
direction of chain travel, as shown in Figure 38 on
page 28.
96. Tighten set screws on output sprocket. Adjust chain
slack to
1 ⁄
4
inch (6 mm).
