Transport Locks

Refer to Figure 8

15. Once the cylinders are connected, raise the unit com-

pletly. If the transport locks

are in place, remove them

at this time.

Refer to Figure 9

16. Store the transport locks

on the main frame as

shown.

17. Once the locks are removed, unfold the wings.

Note: Make sure no one is under the wings during the un-

folding process. Watch for leaks and make sure hoses
do not get pinched during the initial unfolding process.

18. Once the machine is unfolded, raise and lower the

machine several times to purge air from the lift system.
Again, watch for any leaks and tighten if necessary.

19. Check the tire pressure for proper inflation and check

the tightness of lug bolts.

First Time Field Adjustments

Pre-Leveling of Machine

Note: Pre-leveling of machine should be done on a good lev-

el surface (preferably concrete).

Main Frame Leveling

Refer to Figure 10

20. Lower the machine until discs (on center frame) are 1 to

2” above the surface. Set the depth stop at this depth.
Raise and then re-lower machine to depth stop. Center
frame may need to be leveled from side to side. Measure
the height from center of the walking beam pivot

to the

bottom of the center frame

on both sides.

21. If they do not match from side to side, adjust center turn-

buckle as shown below.
