Leveling the Boom

CAUTION
Be careful not to pinch fingers in hinge. Make sure boom is se-
curely supported before adjusting shims.
Refer to Figure 3
1. Level inside boom arm with center section (1) by po-
sitioning the shims (2) on hinge rest until correct thick-
ness of shims is attained to level the boom. The
bottom tube of inside boom section should be parallel
to the frame of center section (1). Tighten shim bolts
when finished.

2. Level outer boom wing by adding or removing a wash-
er (1) on the adjustment bolt (2) so outer boom section
is level with inner boom arm. Tighten jam nuts when
finished.
