Trailer Hitch Installation
Refer to Figure 152
8.
Support the pintle end of the hitch weldment with
a hoist or jack.
9. Select four sets:
802-055C HHCS 5/8-11X2 GR5
804-022C WASHER LOCK SPRING 5/8 PLT
803-021C NUT HEX 5/8-11 PLT
10. If the planter is equipped with one or more fertilizer
manifolds, insert the bolts through the fertilizer
hookup mounts (which are attached to hoses
routed to the rear of the planter).
11. Insert bolts through the hitch weldment flanges
and into the hitch plates on the crossbar. Loosely
secure with lock washers
and nuts .
12. Select four sets:
802-055C HHCS 5/8-11X2 GR5
804-022C WASHER LOCK SPRING 5/8 PLT
803-021C NUT HEX 5/8-11 PLT
Secure bottom edges of hitch flanges to plates .
Tighten all fasteners to torque spec.
