Calibrating the Pump Flow Rate
Prime and purge the system pumps with water before starting the calibration
procedure. Calibrate the flow rate with water.
Note:
Ensure that the column is offline before performing this task.
To calibrate the pump flow rate
1.
On the NGC touch screen, select Calibrate on the ChromLab dropdown menu.
2.
Select Pump Flow Rate on the dropdown list.
3.
Follow the steps in the Pump Flow Rate Calibration dialog box.
4.
Verify that Status (at the bottom of the dialog box) is Calibrated.
Calibrating Pressure Sensor Zero Point
Use this procedure to zero the pressure on the following modules:
Sample pump
System pump
Column switching valve
To zero the pressure
1.
Ensure the modules are not plumbed and are at ambient pressure.
2.
On the NGC touch screen, select Calibrate on the ChromLab dropdown menu.
3.
Select the pump or valve on the dropdown list.
4.
Follow the steps in the Calibration dialog box.
5.
Verify that Status (at the bottom of the dialog box) is Calibrated.
