On the ChromLab Computer
1.
Start ChromLab.
The System Connection dialog box appears. ChromLab detects the NGC
systems available on the same sub-network or those systems that are directly
connected to the computer. The system name, network name, and IP address
of each available system appear in the table.
Note:
If your system does not appear in the table, click Detect to refresh
the list. ChromLab searches the network for available NGC systems and
refreshes the list.
2.
In the System Connection dialog box, do one of the following:
Select a name in the list of detected systems and click Connect.
Select the appropriate radio button, enter the system’s name or IP address
and click Connect.
Tip:
This is the information that you noted on ChromLab Touch in
87. The IP address for an NGC instrument that is
directly connected to the ChromLab computer begins with the number
sequence 169.254.
