You can use your VP530 IP video phone to place a video or audio call. You can set the
preferred call type, contact your system administrator for more information. You can use
one of the following ways to place a call:

Using the handset

Using the speakerphone

Using the headset

You can also dial the number first, and then choose the way you want to speak to the
other party.

You can dial from the History, the Local Directory or the Favorites. In the dialing interface,
tap to access the favorites, tap to access the local directory or tap
to access the history. For more information, refer to

During a call, you can alternate between Speakerphone, Headset, or Handset modes
by pressing the Speakerphone key, plugging in the headset, or picking up the handset.

During a video call, you can:

Start and stop the transmission of near-site video

Swap the video windows

View video on the full screen

Your phone displays video in two windows: a small window located on the top-right of
the LCD screen, and a larger window centered in the middle of the LCD screen. By
default, the near-site video displays in the small window, and the far-site video displays
in the window in the center of the LCD screen.

Stop Video/Start Video — You can tap or press the Camera Switch key to start/stop
the transmission of near-site video. When you stop the transmission of near-site video,
the far site will no longer see you.

Swap the video windows — Tap the near-site video window in the top-right side of the
LCD screen to switch the windows the sites display in. The near-site video displays in the
window in the center of the LCD screen, and the far-site video displays in the window in
the top-right side.

Full-Screen — Tap the far-site video window in the center of the LCD screen to

maximize

it, the soft keys are hidden. Tap the window again to restore it to previous position and
size.
