You can tap a pickup key to answer someone else’s incoming call on the phone. The
VP530 IP video phone supports the direct call pickup and group call pickup features.
Direct call pickup is used for picking up a call that is ringing at a specific phone number.
Group call pickup is used for picking up a call that is ringing at any phone number in the
group. The pickup group should be predefined, contact your system administrator for
more information.

Directed Call Pickup
To configure a pickup key via phone user interface:
1. Tap .
2. Tap the desired DSS key for one second.
3. Tap the pull-down list of Type and then select Key Event.
4. Tap the pull-down list of Key Type and then select Pick Up.
5. Tap the pull-down list of Account ID and then select the desired line.
6. Enter the key label in the Label field or leave it blank.
7. Enter the pickup code followed by the specific phone number you want to pick up in
the Value field.
8. Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.
9. Tap to return to the idle screen.
You can also configure a pickup key via web user interface at the path DSS
Key->Memory Key (or Line Key).
To pick up a call directly:
1. Tap and then tap the pickup key on your phone when the specific phone
If there are many incoming calls at the same time, tap the pickup key on the phone will
pick up the call that rings first.
